萬眾矚目的超強大作，俠盜獵車手四(GTA4)的第一周銷售紀錄再次打破了遊戲娛樂界的歷史紀錄

這對遊戲界來說，又是一個新的里程碑，自從GTA系列發售以來，遊戲的銷售紀錄就不間斷的持續更新

由此可見GTA系列對全球玩家的影響力有多大!!

事實上，從遊戲內容就不難了解，這算是第一款讓我不知該從何下筆的遊戲，因為它的內容性實在是太豐富了

無論從哪個點來開頭，都覺得美中不足….

我只能說，這款遊戲實在是太經典，太銷魂了~~Orz

Take-Two sent out word today that Grand Theft Auto IV topped the $500 million mark in retail sales for its first week. This comes with sales of approximately 6 million units globally. The game reportedly sold 3.6 million units on its opening day, bringing in approximately $310 million globally. The company is claiming both sales marks as all-time entertainment sales records.

Take-two公佈GTA4第一周的銷售金額為5億美金，這數字相當於全球銷售將近600萬片遊戲。遊戲發售當天的銷售數量為360萬片，全球總銷售金額為3.1億美元，Take-two再度的打破了自己與遊戲界的銷售紀錄

“We knew Grand Theft Auto IV would break new ground in terms of the player’s experience, with its compelling story line, extraordinary gameplay and action that ranges over a broad urban canvas. Now, it has broken sales and rating records as well. Grand Theft Auto IV’s first week performance represents the largest launch in the history of interactive entertainment, and we believe these retail sales levels surpass any movie or music launch to date,” said Strauss Zelnick, Chairman of Take-Two.

Microsoft offered further statististics through its official blog regarding Xbox Live usage during the first week. More than 2.3 million people played Grand Theft Auto IV while connected to Xbox Live and the service reached 1 million concurrent users over the weekend. So far, over 100 million gamerscore points have been unlocked from 12 million achievements in GTA IV. The game also set a new Xbox Live record for time played in a week with the average player spending more than four hours with GTA IV.

微軟也在官方Blog上公佈了這星期的Xbox Live使用量，超過230萬的玩家在Xbox Live上遊玩GTA4，在周末時，同時上線人數達到100萬人，此外，全世界1億的遊戲成就分數其中有1200萬來自於GTA4，玩家在GTA4上面的遊玩時間，一星期平均為4個小時!!
